MOPS Lubbock
What is MOPS?
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is a group for moms of children ages birth-Kindergarten.
MOPS is a place for you to come breathe, find common ground with other women in your season of life, and to gain valuable resources and insights from mentor moms, program speakers and other moms with young children.
Our MOPS group meets once a month at Live Oak Community Church with quality childcare so you can enjoy some "adult" time.
We also have occational Coffee Talk meetings and playdates for the kids at various locations in Lubbock and the surrounding area. (See "Fun Things to Do" Tab for upcoming meetings)

MOPS International Discovering MOPS International
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is an international organization whose mission is to provide support for moms of young children (ages birth to Kindergarten).
MOPS is about celebrating motherhood, meeting needs, making connections, and experiencing God's love through relationships and resources.
MOPS exists to meet the needs of every mom - urban, suburban and rural; stay-at-home and working; teen, single and married - moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be!
MOPS also recognizes that the years from infancy through kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs; therefore, our goal is to support moms through relationships and resources provided in the context of local groups with a caring atmosphere.

Shiny Mask How to Join Registration
Childcare
Our childcare program, MOPPETS, consists of quality workers who have passed background checks and who care about children. Fun activities and learning will be provided for ages 0-5 (although you are welcome to keep your infant with you at the meeting) at all meetings at Live Oak unless otherwise indicated. We assume when you register that you will be present at monthly program meetings, but we ask you to RSVP for CoffeeTalk so we can ensure enough workers are available.
Fee
Your initial registration fee of $23.95 will go directly to MOPS International. You will receive a subscription to the bi-monthly magazine, MomSense, plus encouraging emails from MOPS International. Additionally a fee of $20 per semester will go to our local chapter to cover program costs, supplies, childcare, etc. Scholarships are available.
Our year runs September-May, to coincide with the school calendar, so be looking for information about registration and meeting schedule in August.
